　I get sweets on break time at work almost every day. Most of time, our boss gets us some sweets from sweets shop or convenience store. It's good time but I think I've been having too much sweets recently. Besides this, I often take chocolate while I'm working because it's easy to get tired. Glucose take away my tired. But it's just too much sometime. Like today, my co- worker brought some her original cheese cake And also our boss brought some sweets as always. So we had two different sweets for break time. That was definitely too much even for me. I am gaining. I'm dying to go runnying again.

会社の休憩ではほぼ毎日甘い物を食べてる。だいたい社長がコージーコーナーやコンビニで買ってくるスイーツ。それはいいんだけど、さすがに最近は甘い物食べすぎだ。これとは別に、疲れやすい仕事なので、自分は仕事中にチョコを頻繁に食べる。疲れたらブドウ糖。ただ採り過ぎ。今日みたいに、同僚の子がオリジナルチーズケーキを持ってきたりと、更に社長のお約束スイーツのおもてなし。休憩時間にダブルスイーツはいくらなんでもきつい。太ったよ。そろそろまた走り行きたい。

About Christmas cake, the most popular one in Japan is decorative strawberry shortcake. Yes we can get strawberry at grocery store even on winter season. Many people from America left comment that said their Christmas cake was fruit cake. And apparently it's not good....? Really? It sounds just good to me though.... I'm not sure if I have ever seen the fruit cake before.

How do you get excited when X'mas coming? I'm almost 40 mid age man but I still like the mood...;;;;; lol I know we Japanese are buddist but we still celebrate Western holiday.... but in many various ways (Young people)...LOL I think we just like to soak up the atmosphere of Christmas mood even though some of us don't even know.Dec 25th is the birthday of Jesus Christ. The country of Japan, it's even funny to me.

日本のクリスマスケーキといえば、イチゴのショートケーキがもっとも有名。日本では冬でもいちごがスーパーで手に入ります。たくさんのアメリカ人の方々が、自国ではフルーツケーキがクリスマスケーキだとコメントしてくれました。不味いらしいです。本当に？なんか美味しそうだけど。見たことあるかなー。

クリスマスシーズンが近づくとどんな気分になりますか？僕は４０近いおっさんだけど、未だにその雰囲気が好きだったりする。確かに我々日本は仏教だけど、クリスマスは祝います。。。色んな祝い方があるけど（若者は特に）。おそらく単に雰囲気を味わいたいだけなんだろうと。12月25日がイエス様の誕生日とか知らない人けっこういるのも事実だし。日本って可笑しな国だ。

Reeeeally.....It's ironic that he's not as popular as my channel lol This proves it's not always how you are well on cooking to be more popular on YouTube, it's how you make the video... If I can always make foods like his, and I'm pretty sure that I can be a real YouTube celebrity in no time. That's why I do some stupid things in the video. Because that even helps. At the moment, sadly that's the only way for me to keep my popularity...

Today was 100 yen donuts day at Mister Donuts. During the campaign, they give you Snoopy notbook for only 300 yen if you spend more than 700 yen.

今日はミスド100円デーだった。７００円分のドーナツ購入でスヌーピー手帳が３００円で買えるというキャンペーン中だった。

So this means you get 7 kinds of 100 yen dunuts, then you can get Snoopy's note book only for 300 yen. I started wondering if it's really the best deal after I got them... 300 yen just for Snoiopy's notbook? Do I ever need Snoopy's item? lol I just have week spot for whatever campaign being held ?

Strange dream part2 どうでもいい話其の二

　I had another strange dream when I was sleeping in the train. It wasn't bad but it makes me sad a little. But I can't find a reason why I think it makes me sad. That's why I think dream is strange.

That dream was like this. I don't know why it seemed like I bought a new house and it was kinda big. And Many people came visit to my house and having drink and foods. Who were them...? I'm not really sure...I don't remember clealy at that point. But ｔhere were some youtube fellow and my old friends. There was a bar at first floor in my house LOL People who looks musician are drinking there. And I found one letter when I went up stairs. It said that ''Taro! Don't do it too much! or I'll kill you!'' .... In this dream, the letter was taken as a joke. Because I knew why I got this letter & who wrote it. But I don't know why I kew why lol Everything makes sense in dream, but no make sense in real. So this letter actually made me happy. Because I guess I really like the person who wrote it. And then I met my old friend who I've been wondering how he's been. He was twin!(In real, he's not) So I didn't know which one I had to talk to. And....Guess what... He just called me when I woke up and got off the train! LOL That call made me wonder whether I was still in dream or not. It's been several years since I hang out with him last time. So we talked on the phone that we're gonna drink together after work in the near future for the first time in a long time. I know this guy since elementary school. So... this is pretty much about my another strange dream...I don't know if you understand clealy what I'm actually saying. But thanks for letting me kill your time lol

　また変な夢を見た。電車に揺られながら。悪い夢ではないけど、何か悲しくなるんよ。理由なんてない。だから夢なんだろうか。

　夢はこんな感じ。何故だかわからないけど、けっこう大きい家購入したみたい。たくさんの人が遊びに来てて、飲み食いしてた。誰かって？そこはあまりはっきりとは覚えてないかな。でもYouTubeの仲間や幼馴染の友人がいた。１階はバーになってた（笑）。ミュージシャンみたいな人達が飲んでた。２階へあがった時に１通の手紙を見つけた。そこには「太郎！ほどほどにしとけ！殺すぞ！」って書いてあった。夢の中ではその内容は冗談として捉えられてた。何故こんな手紙をもらったのか、誰が書いたのか、わかってたから。でも何故わかってたのかはわからない。夢の中では、その全てが理にかなってたりするけど、現実ではちんぷんかんぷんだ。手紙は嬉しいものだった。その人のことが大好きなんだろう。その後、最近どうしてんだろうと気になってた幼馴染の友人にも夢で会えた。お前双子だったのかよ！（現実では違うけど）。どっちに話しかけたらいいのかわからなかった。なんと目が覚めて電車から降りた時にその彼本人からの着信！（可笑）まだ夢の中なのか現実なのかわからなくなったくらい。しばらく彼とは会ってなかった。近いうち久しぶりにお互い会社帰りにでも飲もうということで話は落ち着いた。彼とは小学校以来の幼馴染。とまぁ見た夢はこんな感じ。何言ってるかよくわからなかったかもしれないね。皆の貴重な時間を潰させてもらえてこっちは楽しかった（笑）

A dream I just had どうでもいい話

I just had dream about 30 minutes ago. I'm typing this at almost 2 am now. I try not to use air conditioner when I sleep. But no way, I can't stand this sweltering night any more.

So anyway, dream I just had was like this. I was doing the dishes in my kitchen. I realized my dish detergent was out . So I was having hard time to keep doing the dishes. But I still had lots more to go... And also I had to do it under running hot water because there was no tap water. And at this point, I woke up....Maybe hot water in a dream woke me up to the reality of sweltering night. As soon as I woke up, I went to kitchen to see if dish detergent was actually out. It was plenty! I was so happy LOL I know it's strange to be happy like that , but I don't know why I was so glad that I still had enough dish detergent in my kitchen LOL I think it's because it was really hard to do the dishes without it even in a dream... Just like this, sometimes I do feel relieved by waking to reality. And vice versa.

　３０分くらい前に夢を見た。これを打ってる今は夜中の２時頃。クーラーはなるべく使わないで寝てるんだけど、もういい加減限界だ。

さっき見た夢はこんな感じ。台所で洗い物してた。中性洗剤が切れてるのに気づいた。なので洗うと言っても大変。まだ洗い物はたくさんある。しかも水が出てこないため、熱いお湯で。とここで目が覚めた。おそらく夢の中の熱いお湯が現実の熱帯夜の世界に戻してくれたのだろう。起きてすぐさま台所へ行き、中性洗剤を確認。液はたくさん残ってる。めちゃくちゃ嬉しかった。こんなことで嬉しがるのも可笑しなことだけど、洗剤液が十分に残ってるのが何故か嬉しかった。夢の中とは言え、洗剤液なしでの洗い物が相当きつかったんだろうと思う。こんなふうに夢から覚めるとホッとする時がある。またその逆もある。

It's been a while since last time I had omurice. Suddenly I got hungry for it. So I made it for my lunch today. Does this also happen to you? You were hungry for something and you actually start cooking for yourself. But then you realize that you're not hungry any more when it's ready to eat. This happens to me all the time... :( I don't think I often take a taste of the food I'm cooking... I get full stomach just by cooking? Mistery and Mistery...

しばらくオムライス食べてなかった。今日突然食べたくなったので、お昼に作ってみた。みんなにもこんな経験ないですか？何か食べたいものを自分で料理したりしますよね。でもいざ出来上がった時には、もうお腹空いてなかったり。僕はしょっちゅうあります。料理中に味見なんてそんなしてないのになー。。。料理してるだけで腹いっぱいになっちゃうなんて、なんか寂しいもんだね。

Other than anko, all you need is glutinous rice(Mochi kome) or you can also add normal rice (10%-20% of glutinous rice). You may want to mash the rice a little when it's cooked. It's up to you.
Don't forget to have green tea :)

　Some oyster sauce, lemon juice, and any kinds of soup stock (I only have chicken in my kitchen), mix them and pour onto the noodle when you stir-fry the noodle and some vegetables. It gives this food light and simple taste :) Salt or more lemon juice to taste. If you feel it doesn't boost your appetite, you can add whatever seasonings you like to try.

　オイスターソース、レモン汁、鶏がらスープとか野菜スープを全部混ぜて合わ調味料を作っておきます。後は炒めてる焼きそばの上からジャ～とかけて軽く混ぜたら完成。さっぱり味の塩焼きそばみたいな感じです。物足りない人は味付けを色々と試してみるといいかも。

I've seen many young people(even junior high students) have Louis Vuitton bag or purse in Japan. This has already become one of our culture which we see young generation walking in the street with super brand goods as if they are celebrity. I don't complain at all. Everyone has their sense of value. Do what they like to do. But why Louis Vuitton? I like young girls with Coach much better than Louis Vuitton. And on the other hand, oddly enough, I get strange feeling when I see ladies (over 40 years old something) walking in the street with Coach brand. I don't know why I want them to have Louis Vitton or may be birkin from Hermes othen than Coach lol So.. to me, Louis Vuitton is for older people and Coach or some other brand like Balenciaga, Chloe..(Thsese two brands look all same to me anyway...) is for young people. Especially, I really think Coach still look pretty nice to young people even though they are under 18... Why I wrote this blog? Because I saw one young girl who looks 12 years old walking in the street with holding Louis Vuitton bag today... It was totally OUT OF TUNE _ _ ;

I want to vent a little today. I don't know why sometimes people think I'm a little special person like having a successful life.. Is that because of my videos? What made you think I was? For example, on youtube, may be I act like I'm not like everyone else in the video(I do not mean to) but I am just a Tom, Dick and Harry. I think I always try not to show myself like ''I am special'' in my videos but still some people tend to think I am a little special like they want to be like me. Actually,THIS HAPPENS TO ME IN REAL LIFE, too...To be honest, it kinda annoys me...I've never felt happy so far. But come to think of it, if I have to answer what the reason is for this, I think it's something to do with my behave? May be? Where is the answer...Only god knows?...

今日はちょっと愚痴りたい。何故だかわからないんだけど、僕は周りの人に特別扱いされてしまう時が多々ある。ビデオのせいかな？何でそうなるんだろう。例えばYoutubeのビデオでなんかは無意識にそんなふうに振舞ってる自分がいるのかもしれないけど、僕は何等普通の人間。ビデオでもそういうとこ見せないように気をつけてるつもりなんだけど、未だにそう思われてしまう事がある。また 私生活でも同じ だったりする。ぶっちゃけ鬱陶しい。嬉しくなんかない。でも考えてみると、その原因ってやっぱ自分にあるんじゃないかと。たぶんそうだと思う。

5 minutes cooking 5分料理

: 78 yen(about 80 cents) salmon (Doesn't need to be the same price lol)
: Shimeji mushrooms

- Sauce A -
: Some grated ginger
: Some top onion or green onion
: 2 tsp lemon juice
: 1 tsp sugar
: 2 tbsp soy sauce or ponzu

Just stir fry salmon and shimeji mushrooms. Mix all those A- ingredients. And pour onto salom. That's it :) Delicious!

Salmon tomato rice 即興料理が面白い

: 4 Salmon
: Carrot
: Onion
: Can tomato
: Mushroom
: White wine
: Garlic olive oil
: Honey
: Persley

Put some garlic olive oil on salmon and put it in oven. Cut carrot, onion and mushrooms into the size you like and stir fly until the carrot becomes tender enough. Then add tomato sauce , white wine and simmer until the alcohole is gone. Take out the salmon from the oven and put them in tomato sauce. Cover with lid and simmer. Put some honey to taste(Only if you need) Put some rice on a plate and serve over salmon with tomato sauce. Lastly sprinkle some chopped persley. Enjoy^0^/

鮭にオリーブオイル（ガーリックに漬け込んでたものでもいい）を全体に塗って、オーブンで焼く。他の材料は適当に切ったら人参が柔らかくなるまで炒める。そこにトマト缶と白ワインを入れてアルコール分が飛ぶまで煮込む。鮭をオーブンから取り出したら蓋をして一緒に煮込む。味見して酸っぱいようなら蜂蜜をちょっと入れてみる（必要ならば）。お皿にご飯を持ってその上に鮭を置きトマトソースをかける。最後にみじん切りのパセリをふって完成。うまいよ！

This is my cell phone which I've been using for 2 years. Obviously it's been stumped by my foot. It's still working good though. May be it's time to buy a new cell phone. But I was thinking getting smart phone this time. Anyone who has smart phone, do you only use smart phone? or you also have cell phone besides that? The problem is I don't really know much about what smart phone can do. And I'm afraid if I can get comfortable with using it. I'm trying to keep up with Joneses this year.

This video from yuichituba brings back memory. About 18 years ago, when I was college student in TX, USA, I had chance to visit my friend in LA on summer vacation. I stayed in LA for about 2 months. But I need a little money to play around LA life so I decided to work somehow to make some money. I was hired by some Japanese restaurant at Little Tokyo in down town LA(Well I was not supposed to work...I only had student visa lol). I made about 2,000 dollars in 2 months as waiter. Sometimes some real rich American just gave me huge extra tip like 200$! I was wondering why she gave me that much extra tip. My boss told me she was opera singer...:p Opera singers ROCK! xD

X'mas cake

I was gonna upload this video next week but cookingwithdog has just uploaded the same Xmas cake video. That's one thing I've been worrying about. My version of X'mas cake video is just like cookingwithdog's one even thouh mine doesn't look as good as cookingwithdog's（The video has already been recorded）. That's just bad timing. So I hope you all understand the situation as I attach the photo of my X'mas cake on this blog :)

So people who will give me request, try not to order the same one as them. There are too many requests which cookingwithdog has already made before...May be I should think about something different way to entertain my videos next year. If any of you have a good idea, let me know!

I was gonna just buy pre-maid frozen pie crust but may be some people will complain about it...lol So I made it from scratch. Now all I have to do is shoot the video of how to make it. Hopefully this week. And I still have more requests to help. Sometimes I really feel I need bigger kitchen so I can cook easier and faster. But on the other hand, for some reason, I don't know why I enjoy cooking in this small kitchen now. May be it's just some kind of emotional attachment to this small kitchen? Because I've been cooking in this small kitchen for 4 years? Who knows...

　What bothers me when editing a video is my ''ENGLISH'' speaking skill besides cooking skill. Everytime I edit a cooking video, I tend to have something which I can't figure out how I should say in English. In that respect, cookingwithdog is doing really good job besides cooking. May be that's the another reason that I can never catch up them. Come to think of it, bobbyjudo is doing the same thing in Japanese. He usually speaks in Japanese in his cooking videos with English translation. Why didn't I notice this fact by now? I should have noticed this earlier. I surely can learn many English lines from his videos. So I've started watching all his videos again and I take a note when I find some sentences which I think it's useful for my future video. So It could be bobbyjudo's line whenever you see me explaining in a good English sentences in my future video :)

ビデオ編集してると料理の技術以外に自分の英会話スキルで悩まされる。どのように英語で表現したらいいのかわからなくなる事が多々ある。そういった点で、cookingwithdogは料理以外でもさすが。これもまたcookingwithdogに全然追いつけない要因かも。そういえばbobbyjudo（ジェフ）は日本語で同じような事してたっけ。彼の料理ビデオではたいてい英語注釈付きで日本語で説明してる。なんで今まで気づかなかったのか。もっと早い時期に気づくべきだった。彼のビデオから（料理だけじゃなく）色んな英語の使い方を学べるはず。そんなわけで最近はボビーの料理教室を見直しながら気になった英語注釈があればメモするようにしてる。きっと役に立つ日も来るでしょう。この先自分の料理ビデオで、【らしい英語】で説明してる時があったらボビーの料理教室で学んだ「英語」かもしれません＾＾

So I made pizza toast again. I still love pizza...When I was younger, I thought I liked those stuff just because I was young. But even now, I still think about pizza almost everyday. Do you agree with what he's done to people? It's very touching and even powerful movie. I liked the beautiful ending very much as HOLLYWOOD MOVIE but I think there are a lot of people who doesn't understand what he's done. I never thought this movie was gonna be one of thought-provoking movie. I think this movie shows both strength and weakness of human. Or may be this movie is just talking about how to becaome an organ donor... XD

I got 5 different kinds of Mac straps from Macdonalds. I can get these straps from ordering LL size combo. The problem was it's ramdom...So I had to ask the workers if I could get different straps because I don't want the same one...And yeah! They gave me different kinds everytime I ordered LL size combo :)

I need to train the muscles that control the jaw's ability to clench the teeth. You knopw why? Because I still love American junk foods LOL American junk foods such as hamburger, pizza...etc is really soft to bite. So my chin is getting weaker if I just keep eating all those stuff. This dried cuttlefish is good for me then. I have to bite and bite and bite...and swallow it...This process makes my chin? jaw? stronger(May be). It smells and tastes like fish. I don't think this is your kind. Very Japanese kind.

These URL bellow in the branding box doesn't link to their channel from my channel any more...So I've been asking youtube partner support several times. But I haven't got any response yet. It's been 3 weeks by now. It those URL doesnt lead you to their channel, who wants to check? How often do people copy and paste those URL to check out? I wouldn't do it because it's pain in the neck. Chotto / Sukoshi means ''a little'' as you might know.

Useful Japanese phrase ''Chotto ちょっと'' for making a negative reply. Just by saying ''Chotto...'' when you have to make a negative reply. ''Chotto'' in this case, is a unique Japanese expression which is irregular way. And it doesn't mean ''a little''. Therefore you can't just say ''sukoshi...'' for making a negative reply. It doesn't make sence. This is advanced Japanese lesson :) 　

- Example -
When I ask you to come to the party or something, you might don't really feel like to go but you don't feel comfotable to make a negative reply to me. Then you may say ''Chotto...''

Saying ''chotto'' like this makes the situation ease up a little. It depends on what kind of situation you are in but it's very useful phrase to use sometimes. This is just a unique Japanese expression. If you can use it like us, you are fluent Japanese speaker.

In this video, I was talking about my Japanese hater a little. Because this omurice fail video just reminded me of my hater's message. Actually I don't care about my hater at all. Not even discouraged. But people who left comment in this video are so nice. It seems like they really care about me and try to encourage me. I just want to say ''THANK YOU EVERYONE!''. What I want to say in this blog is I feel like being modest about this. About video, it's very interesting to find that people tend to care more about how I pronounce ''election'' than actual cooking. Japanese people like me are having trouble with pronouncing ''R'' sound as you know. In the video, many people who left comment said ''erection?''. I actually didn't know what erection means...Now I know what it means! lol I see...Now I know why people tell me that. It IS funny!

Hmmm...Trying to make people laugh with humor is still not that easy for me. That makes people more confused than the humor just like I do on my bulletin board. I need more twists! If those people who reads my bulletin board were Japanese, it'd be easier to be understood as a joke. This is one thing I think it's interesting to see the difference of sense of humor between us. Like hollywood movie, there are so many dialog which has humor going on for sure. Sometimes I get it, but sometimes I don't get it. I wonder if any Westerners have the same trouble with the difference as I do.

Youtube user ''BP5M'' ordered egg drop soup. It was quite easy enough. But shooting and editing was as hard as usual. My PC freezed up again while editing...It happens all the time. It's not old PC though...But anyway, the egg drop soup was good. I may want to try to make the soup taste like more professional next time (May be not).

Curry rice is one of very popular dish in Japan. Originally curry is from India (I think). So it's a little different style here in Japan. Curry rice in Japan is kinda Japanized curry rice. I love both but I'd rather order Indian curry if I have to choose. When I was in Tokyo, I had a great place to eat Indian curry in Okachimachi city. All cheff were from India. I used to go there at least twice a week. So if you ever have a chance to go to Okachimachi city in Tokyo(Ueno), I highly recommend you to visit there and try some spinach curry plate.

I just found what I was wanting to know how it's called. It was ''marinade''. In Japan, we usually say ''たれ''(tare). Many of my cooking videos, I make たれ, but I didn't know how it's called in English. So I always called it ''sauce'' as you can see if you've watched one of my videos. I knew it's OK for everyone to understand what I mean when I say ''sauce'' for たれ(Actually it's marinade). But I always was wondering what I actually should call something like that. Other than this, I have lots of things that I should learn about English vocabulary for cooking. Step by step, I will learn it :)

マリネードという言葉が今まで自分が探してた言葉というのをたった今知りました。日本ではそれを「たれ」と言います。自分の料理ビデオではよくたれを作ります。でも英語でなんと言ったらいいのかわからなかった。だからいつも「ソース」と言って誤魔化してたのは僕のビデオを見た人ならわかりますよね。ソースと言ったとしても皆さんが理解できるのはわかってましたが、実際何て言うんだろうといつも悩んでた。他にもまだたくさん学ばなきゃいけない料理英語があるけど、一歩一歩頑張ります。

This ramen recipe is really easy for evereyone. Trust me, it tastes great even though it's so much faster. I recomend you to use Chinese style chicken stock. I'm not sure how the tastes turns out from American chicken stock. I think it'll be OK.

In Japan, Most people who loves to drink have a routine that they go to ramen shop after drinking. They say that eating ramen after drinking sober them up and even taste better. I don't drink alcohol so I don't know if it's true. It's like superstition. What do you think? May be you Westerner can try my recipe after some drink?

OMG how can I open my car door now? My car will be flashing lights and siren blaring unless I deactivate the security. It would be so embarrased...The worse thing is that I can't find the spare radio control which I bought several years ago for this kind of worst. It just became all but meaningless...

あーこれじゃどうやって車のドア開ければいいんだよ？セキュリティ解除しない限りライト点滅とサイレンが鳴り響いちゃうよ。恥ずかしい・・・。最悪なのは数年前にこういう時のために買っておいた予備のリモコンが見つからないこと。全く意味を成してない・・・。

太った！ I gained 4kg!

I started to feel tight-fit my underwear recently. So I checked my weight on the scale, then I found I gained 4 kg(9 pound). Come to think of it, I've been practicing make fried rice for the next video on my channel and I ate them all even though the food turned out fail. I see that's the reason why.

最近パンツがきついなと思って久々に体重計ったら4kキロ太ってた。そういえば最近次のビデオにしようと思ってたチャーハンの練習してたためかチャーハンけっこう食べたかも。失敗したチャーハンも全部食べたからね。
